A post-doctoral position is available in the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Center (Director: Dr. Charalabos Pothoulakis), David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in NIH-funded projects to study the role of neuropeptides in fat tissue-mediated responses in collaboration and under the supervision of Dr. Iordanis Karagiannidis. The project will utilize multi-disciplinary approaches including molecular and cellular biology, genetically engineered and colitis mouse models and advanced imaging techniques, as well as microarray and other genomic analyses.
